Miss Kitty surprised us(well not really- it was quite obvious it was going to happen) with 2 kittens 4 weeks ago. They are now named Bobby and Kerry and are both grey and white. Bobby looks like his mom and Kerry is mostly white. Miss Kitty has already gone thru one heat cycle(babies were only 2 weeks old)so will be locked in the garage until babies are weaned and we can have her spayed.

Thanks for the kind words, Lynette! We've added llama rescue to the list for donations, too. It's a very worthy cause.

Kim and I were so very sorry to hear of Jack's illness and then of his passing. We appreciate the time we have spent with Jack and Jean at llama and alpaca events in the past few years. His love for his family and his animals was ever evident and will abide in our hearts. Please know, Jean, that Kim and I are available and willing, should you need help with the alpacas or the farm. Warm and comforting hugs, Lynette

Spring is happening- things are starting to bloom and the pasture is greening up a bit. The fleece we shipped to Oklahoma last fall is back as a gorgeous alpaca/bamboo yarn in fingering weight perfect for spring scarves and shawls. We'll be trying it out and post the results here when completed. If it works as well as I think it will, we will be making more and have it in the store. The suri/merino aran scarf is done and I will post the picture as soon as I get a good one done.
