4/14/09:  We’ll have Louet’s newest yarn line Eastport posted on the website soon.  You can see the product line on Louet’s website by clicking here.   According to Louet,

“Eastport Alpaca DK Weight is a beautiful, soft, sturdy and warm yarn. Eastport yarn is “home grown” with fiber coming from a collective of over 25 Americain family farms where the Alapca’s are raised and the fiber harvested. The fiber we collect is then pooled and sorted to create wonderful heathered 70/30 Alpaca/Merino yarn. This yarn is worsted spun in a DK weight which can be used for many long lasting, beautiful projects. “

3/14/09:  The fleece we shipped to Oklahoma last fall is back as a gorgeous alpaca/bamboo yarn in fingering weight perfect for spring scarves and shawls. We’ll be trying it out and post the results here when completed.  If it works as well as I think it will, we will be making more and have it in the store.

The newest yarn in the shop is Kraemer Naturals. Naturals is 60% suri alpaca and 40% merino. It’s beautiful!
